Full-Wash Rug Cleaning, Collected and Returned
Some rugs are better cleaned at a professional rug-cleaning facility than in your home. Wool, silk, hand-knotted, antique, Oriental and Persian rugs — and any rug that's heavily soiled or has odor — usually benefit from a controlled, full wash rather than a surface clean on your floor. Our rug pickup and delivery service collects the rug, cleans it properly at a professional rug-cleaning facility, and returns it, across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Durable, lightly soiled or synthetic rugs are often fine cleaned on-site instead, starting at $2 per square foot with a $99 minimum — see area rug cleaning. When you call, we'll help you decide which approach fits your rug.
How It Works
First, tell us about the rug — its material, rough size and condition, and any stains (photos are genuinely useful here). We schedule a pickup, clean the rug at a professional rug-cleaning facility using the Basic, Shampoo or Deep Shampoo level its fiber and condition call for, and then deliver it back to you. We don't promise a fixed turnaround, because size, material and treatment all affect how long a proper wash and dry take; we'll give you a realistic timeframe once we've seen the rug.
Transparent In-Shop Pricing
In-shop rug cleaning through pickup and delivery is priced per square foot:
- Basic — $4 per square foot
- Shampoo — $6 per square foot
- Deep Shampoo — $8 per square foot
A $140 minimum applies, and there is no separate pickup, delivery or distance fee. Applicable sales tax and card-processing fees may apply. We recommend the least expensive level that will realistically solve the problem rather than defaulting to the most thorough one.
Repair & Restoration
We also offer rug repair and restoration — fringe, edges, holes, color loss and more — but we never quote that work from a photo. The rug is cleaned first, then evaluated in person by our specialist, who determines what's actually needed. Any repair begins only after you approve it, and some customers choose to clean only. We ask about the rug's material, size and condition and look at any stains — photos help. Basic suits well-maintained rugs, Shampoo handles odor and heavier soil, and Deep Shampoo is the most thorough level. We recommend the least expensive level that will realistically work.
Can you repair a rug during pickup and delivery?

How long does it take to get my rug back?
