Where Dr Carpet Works
Dr Carpet serves homes and businesses across three states: New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. In New York that means New York City and its boroughs, Long Island's Nassau County, and lower Westchester and Rockland. In New Jersey we cover much of the northern and central part of the state along with the Jersey Shore, and in Connecticut we focus on Fairfield County. Below are many of the communities we serve — if your town isn't listed, call or text and we'll confirm.
New York
From apartment and co-op buildings in the city to large single-family homes and fine-rug communities on Long Island and in Westchester and Rockland, our New York work spans a wide range of homes. We handle building certificate-of-insurance and access requirements in the city, and rug pickup and delivery for delicate pieces across the suburbs.
New Jersey
Our New Jersey coverage runs from the established suburbs of Essex and Bergen counties to the Monmouth and Ocean county shore. Fine-rug cleaning and pickup and delivery are a big part of the suburban work, while along the shore, upholstery, area-rug and water-damage help are common needs.
Connecticut
In Connecticut we serve Fairfield County, from corporate and downtown Stamford to the Gold Coast towns, where fine wool and silk rugs, wall-to-wall carpet and upholstery are all part of the work.
Service Areas — FAQ
Do you charge a travel or distance fee?
For rug pickup and delivery there is no separate pickup, delivery or distance fee — pricing is per square foot with a $140 minimum. For on-site visits, any minimums are confirmed when you book, so you know the number before we come out.
What if my town isn't listed?
The pages here cover many of the communities we serve, but not all of them. We also work in surrounding towns across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, so call or text with your address and we'll confirm availability for your date.
Are you available on Saturdays?
No. We're closed Saturdays everywhere we serve, including for emergencies. Our hours are Sunday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
